We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer IT Systems to join our AI team in
Riyadh, KSA
, Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain existing and new infrastructure platforms for windows servers, Linux, storages, backup components and monitoring tools on domain controller and server's side
    •
  • Create, maintain and ensure all approved policy and procedures are followed
  • Administration of the following systems as it relates to major improvements, enhancements and architectural design

o Window Server Systems and Office 365 o Active Directory (Maintenance and Integration)

o Linux Servers Administrations o Backup Systems Administration (Veeam)

o Disaster recover solutions to determine RTO and RPO.

o Data Centre Hardware (Server, racks, UPS etc)

o AWS/GCP cloud components include EC2/GCP VMs, S3/GCP Buckets, load balance, EKS,

IAM, VPC availability zones and components from Marketplace plus Microsoft Azure

o Google apps, workspace and Slack communications

o Installation and configuration of server hardware, services, settings, directories, storage,

  • Plan all firmware, windows/Linux OS, windows/Linux security patches for all infrastructure systems and equipment with different teams considering continuing checking of compatibility matrix, upgrade path and any expected outage or downtime.
  • Negotiate vendor management services, equipment and suppliers
  • Document and maintain system technical standards.
  • Manage 3-2-1 back up rule data protection strategy to save all critical back up
  • Complete reporting daily, monthly and as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or information systems
  • 4-6 years of experience in technical support and administration of Windows/Linux OSes environment
  • 1-3 years engineering or supporting virtualization infrastructure or supporting storage infrastructure
  • Experience in ITIL Service delivery manage qualifications such as MCSE and Security
  • Strong knowledge of Major Cloud Providers including but not limited to AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Ability to work ad hoc hours in different locations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
