Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Networking
Job Location- Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
*Job Description:
We are looking for a
mid-level DevOps Engineer
with a strong background in
enterprise on-prem infrastructure, networking, and firewall management
. This role is highly operational and hands-on, focused on
infrastructure support, network reliability, security controls
, and
containerized platform operations*
.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working within established enterprise standards, change management processes, and production environments, while actively contributing to improvements and automation.

*Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Infrastructure & Support*

  • Support and maintain enterprise on-premise infrastructure, including compute, storage, and virtualisation platforms.
  • Provide L2/L3 operational support for infrastructure and platform services.
  • Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Execute system upgrades, patching, and capacity planning activities.
  • Follow enterprise change, release, and security processes.

Networking & Firewall

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure:

VLANs, routing, switching

DNS, DHCP, load balancing

  • Manage and support firewalls and security appliances:

Firewall rule creation and optimisation

NAT, VPN (site-to-site and remote access)

Traffic inspection and access controls

  • Work closely with security teams to enforce network security policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve network latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues across environments.

Kubernetes & Container Platforms

  • Support and operate Kubernetes clusters in on-prem or hybrid enterprise environments.
  • Troubleshoot Kubernetes networking, ingress, services, and node-level issues.
  • Deploy and maintain containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Assist application teams with container runtime and deployment issues.

Automation & Tooling

  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation for operational tasks.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code initiatives using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Assist with CI/CD pipeline reliability and deployment troubleshooting.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Monitor infrastructure, network, and platform health using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Perform advanced command-line troubleshooting on Linux systems and containers.
  • Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts to proactively identify issues.

*Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills*

  • 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking concepts:

TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP

  • Proven experience managing firewalls and network security in production environments.
  • Solid Linux system administration skills.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes operations and container platforms.
  • Experience with command-line debugging and production issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and logging solutions.

*Preferred / Nice-to-Have*

  • Experience with enterprise firewall vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
  • Virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Hybrid connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python).

  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate with network, security, and application teams.
  • Proactive mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities.
