Wireline Crew Chief

Purpose:

To work under the supervision of the field engineer in oil and gas wells, in order to deliver on Alkhorayef Petroleum's contractual agreements.

Deliver Alkhorayef Petroleum operational activities using adopted policies and procedures, liaise and maintain excellent relationship with client in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise operators crew on tasks associated with a typical wireline job.
• Perform wireline cable tests and re-heads, and preventative maintenance.
• Rig up and rig down of wireline equipment.
• Operate and maintain pressure control equipment and rig up equipment.
• Perform wireline cable checks, heads and collector assembly, and tools preventative maintenance.
• Prepare for jobs and performing tool maintenance, pre-job and post-job duties
• Determine need of equipment and supplies and maintains appropriate levels of inventory.
• Prepare the wireline unit and assist in tools and equipment calibrations.
• Direct responsible for wireline unit winch during the operation at the field.
• Demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform various wireline functions including winch operation, basic depth control, tension, stuck, stranded armor and lost grease.
• Maintain wireline unit, tools, equipment and facilities in a neat and workable condition.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or High School degree.
• More than 5 years of cased hole wireline experience. Preferred to be in Saudi Arabia.
• More than 5 years experience using wireline 10k pressure control equipment.
• Valid Heavy vehicle driving license.
