Our client is seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Regional Planning Manager to lead our organization's urban and regional planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and development of towns, cities, counties, and metropolitan areas, ensuring sustainable growth and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
Directing and coordinating the development of comprehensive plans and programs for the use of land and physical facilities in towns, cities, counties, and metropolitan areas.Collaborating with senior planners to assess the environmental, economic, and health issues of an area as it grows and changes.Conducting research and analysis to support planning initiatives, such as transportation, community resource access, and land use.Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate planning proposals and recommendations.Overseeing the administration of government plans or policies affecting land use, zoning, public utilities, community facilities, housing, or transportation.Coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Managing and mentoring a team of urban and regional planners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Developing and implementing strategies to promote coordinated regional planning and collaboration among stakeholders.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in urban planning, geography, environmental science, or a related field.Master's degree in urban planning, community development, or a related field preferred.At least 10 years of experience in urban and regional planning, with at least five years in a responsible (supervisory or team lead) position.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in geographic information system (GIS) software is a plus.
