Accountant – Government Compliance & Financial Operations

About the Role

We are hiring an Accountant to oversee the company's financial operations with a particular focus on payroll, government portals, and compliance. The ideal candidate must be fully experienced in handling
Mudad, GOSI, ZATCA, Qiwa, and Etimad
platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting records, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
  • Manage payroll processing through
    Mudad
  • Oversee
    GOSI
    employee registration, contribution updates, and final exits
  • Prepare and submit
    VAT and withholding tax returns via ZATCA
  • Handle employee contract issuance and renewal through
    Qiwa
  • Coordinate supplier registration, invoicing, and payment follow-ups on
    Etimad
  • Track accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash
  • Assist with annual audits and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor, tax, and financial regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with
    Mudad, GOSI, ZATCA, and Qiwa
  • Familiarity with
    Etimad
    is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, and statutory reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
  • Fluent in Arabic and English

Preferred Experience

  • Background in consulting or service-based businesses
  • Experience managing vendor and government payment cycles
