Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Dammam for an HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) Operator. The HDD Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining horizontal directional drilling equipment for various pipeline and utility installation projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting blueprints and plans, ensuring machine safety, resolving any operational issues, and maintaining communication with on-site teams to ensure project progress and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with horizontal directional drilling equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, site plans, and utility drawings
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to regulatory guidelines
  • Proficiency in equipment handling, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to address on-site challenges effectively
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and project supervisors
  • A valid driver's license and relevant certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience in trenchless technology or related construction fields is advantageous
