Job Title:
Procurement Specialist
Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.

Job Purpose:

To assist in executing the company's procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute purchasing activities based on department requests.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Verify received goods and services meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the finance department for invoice processing and payments.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Prepare periodic procurement reports and analysis.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement principles and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure.
