As part of the Steer studios team, you will work alongside the best global gaming talents who have relocated to Riyadh to be part of the ambitious group, and innovative, passionate, and hardworking Saudis.

Steer Studios is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. As Financial Analyst, s/he will work closely with Finance Business partner and accounting team to oversee and managing various financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of SGG financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with department heads and executives to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze budget-to-actual variances, providing insightful explanations and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial projections and long-term financial plans.
  • Prepare and submit monthly mobile and console Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to department heads.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and insights.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of proposed projects, initiatives, or investments.
  • Streamline financial processes and workflows, leveraging technology and automation where applicable.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and accounting standards, proactively recommending changes or updates to existing policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain policies for financial reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity management.

Qualifications & Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • +5 years' experience as an Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
