Motor Winder

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing electrical components into devices. They will also help design and manufacture electrical products of all shapes and sizes. They should be able to make quality assurance checks in order to keep the product standard high.

Responsibilities

· Must have good English written and verbal communication skills

· Familiarity with various types of motors and their components commutator, rocker, GNA MNA of DC motor Armature.

· Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing a variety of motor types and sizes up-to 11500Kw 13.8Kv

· Experience with winding and repairing gensets, alternators, exciter stators, and rotors.

· Ability to use hand and power tools for disassembly and reassembly of motors and Generator.

· Able to collect all rewinding data, types of insulation and create request for required material.

· Proficiency in testing and diagnosing motor issues using specialized equipment

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety procedures

· Should have experience of preparing inspection report, service report, before and after service test report independently for both Mechanical and Electrical static tests

· Proficient in using winding machines, hand tools, crane and testing equipment.

Attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications and diagrams

Qualifications

• An ITI or diploma Electrical or a related field is preferred.
• Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
