About the role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Mechanical Engineer
with at least
8 years of professional
experience
, preferably within an engineering
consultancy environment
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising mechanical systems for a wide range of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
Responsibilities :
Design and review HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and mechanical systems for various projects
Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and specifications
Perform load calculations and equipment selection using industry-standard software
Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, structural engineers, and project managers
Provide technical guidance and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards
Attend site visits, inspections, and project meetings as required
Ensure compliance with local and international engineering standards
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 6+ years in a consultancy firm preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and related mechanical disciplines
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
Note :
The contract is for 6 months
