Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cyber Security Specialist, based in Riyadh. The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for securing application systems, networks, and information from potential cyber threats. Daily responsibilities include implementing security protocols, monitoring for vulnerabilities, performing risk assessments, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with data protection standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures is also an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Application Security and securing software development life cycles.
  • Knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity strategies, including identifying and mitigating cyber threats.
  • Expertise in Network Security and implementing robust firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network protection tools.
  • Proficiency in Information Security, including data protection, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, protocols and tools like SOC, ISO 27001, and NIST is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze, identify, and mitigate vulnerabilities effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
