About the Role

Rqiip is seeking a world-class Gamification Master to architect and lead the entire gamification layer of our product experience. This role is designed for a senior-level specialist who wants to become an early partner in a startup and contribute in exchange for ownership (equity) rather than immediate salary.

You will be responsible for transforming complex user workflows into highly engaging, habit-forming, and performance-driven experiences.

Key Responsibilities


• Design and own the full gamification architecture across the product.


• Build advanced systems for XP, levels, streaks, challenges, quests, rewards, and achievements.


• Create behavior-driven engagement loops that drive adoption, retention, and productivity.


• Develop role-based gamification journeys for different users.


• Apply behavioral psychology frameworks to product design.


• Collaborate with product, UX, data, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.


• Define gamification KPIs and track impact on engagement and performance.


• Continuously optimize mechanics using analytics, experimentation, and user feedback.


• Lead gamification strategy for new features and future platform expansions.


• Document all gamification logic, rules, and progression systems.

Requirements


• 5+ years of experience in gamification, behavioral product design, game mechanics, or engagement systems.


• Deep mastery of gamification frameworks such as Octalysis, Fogg Behavior Model, Self-Determination Theory, and Habit Loops.


• Proven experience building gamification systems for digital products (SaaS, apps, platforms).


• Strong understanding of behavioral psychology, motivation systems, and user triggers.


• Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, rewarding experiences.


• Experience working with UX/UI designers and product managers.


• Strong data mindset with experience using engagement metrics and A/B testing.


• High level of initiative, ownership, and startup mindset.


• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
