The Key Account Manager is a vital member of our sales team, responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our key clients.
The ideal candidate should be an experienced professional, with a proven background in AV. You will have a strong background in account management, exceptional communication skills, technical and commercial knowledge with a proven track record of driving growth and a client first mindset.
Job Requirements
- Develop and grow long-term relationships with key accounts
- Conduct sales demos, technical and pre-sales presentations to customers
- Visit customer sites to build relationships and understand their requirements
- Work in collaboration with internal teams (logistics, marketing, technical and OP) to ensure seamless execution
- Prepare and deliver customer sales quotes and liaise between clients and the support team to quickly resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, tender progress, and client interactions through CRM tools and internal reporting systems, ensuring full visibility for senior management and alignment with strategic goals.
- Stay up-to-date with product developments, market trends, and competitor activity
- Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities to meet and exceed agreed sales targets within the target markets agreed by the leadership teams.
- Provide proposals, technical and commercial negotiations, and subsequent follow-ups to finalize orders
- Proactively engage in outbound outreach to generate new business leads, while ensuring the prospective client database remains accurate and up to date.
- Identify and build a long-term active pipeline, exploring both existing markets and targeting new ones
- Adhere to established company protocols for customer acquisition, tender submissions, and related sales processes.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, client presentations, and industry events
- Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
- Maintain an awareness of market trends and competitor activity
Job Responsibilities
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Diploma or a related field
- A minimum of 4–5 years of proven experience in business account management, preferably within the AV or technology sector.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is essential.
- Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Skilled in preparing and delivering compelling client-focused presentations.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication
- A valid local driving license is required for this role.
