Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a DPO (Dynamic Positioning Officer) Master located in Dammam. The DPO Master will oversee dynamic positioning operations, ensure compliance with vessel safety protocols, and manage efficient navigation and operations of the vessel. Responsibilities include supervising vessel crew, maintaining accurate logs, ensuring adherence to international maritime regulations, and executing operational plans. The role also involves coordinating with marine warranty surveyors and ensuring all activities are carried out according to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Technical expertise in dynamic positioning systems and vessel navigation
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety standards
• Experience in rig moves, subsea operations, and marine warranty surveying is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Certifications in MCA MLC 2006, IMCA membership, and relevant DP courses
• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field
