The AMIRAL Project is a major petrochemicals expansion developed by TotalEnergies and Saudi Aramco through their joint venture SATORP in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. It includes a mixed-feed steam cracker producing 3.5 MT/year of petrochemicals, HDPE units, utilities, off-sites, storage, and supporting facilities. The program involves 7 EPCC packages, over 100 million manhours, and a peak workforce of 25,000. Total project CAPEX exceeds USD 10 billion. The Project Management Team (PMT) is composed of 350 personnel overseeing engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Job DescriptionSupervise EPCC Contractor construction activities to ensure safe and compliant execution.
Ensure all works follow approved method statements, drawings, specifications, and HSSE requirements.
Conduct daily safety walks with contractor supervision.
Review and comment on Contractor JSAs, Method Statements, and work schedules.
Monitor construction progress and ensure activities remain on schedule.
Identify deviations in performance and coordinate corrective actions with Contractor.
Ensure adequate field supervision coverage across all construction activities.
Participate in weekly progress meetings and review weekly/monthly progress reports.
Coordinate with HSE and Quality teams to address observations and non-conformities.
Manage subsystem/system handover to Commissioning, including punch list activities.
Support audits, monitor compliance, and ensure timely closure of audit actions.
Coordinate with other EPCC packages to ensure proper interfaces and schedule alignment.
Oversee inspection, testing, and remedial work associated with Quality Control.
Maintain documentation and record all construction-related correspondences.
Provide construction input for close-out reports and lessons learned.
15+ years construction experience in Oil & Gas, preferably in Saudi Arabia. Strongly prioritize candidates with transferable IQAMA.
Strong knowledge of construction execution, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Experience in EPCC project environments and large-scale integrated projects.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to fast-paced conditions.
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills in multicultural teams.
Fluent in English.
Advanced expertise in supervising erection and construction works.
Solid understanding of HSE, environmental aspects, and permit-to-work systems.
