Role Purpose

The Asset Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance, operation, and maintenance of solar power facilities to ensure maximum efficiency, profitability, and compliance with technical, environmental, and regulatory standards. The role involves strategic financial oversight, risk management, and optimization of asset portfolios to achieve long-term business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

1. Investment Strategy & Analysis

  • Analyze market trends, financial data, and economic indicators to identify investment opportunities and develop strategic growth plans.

2. Portfolio Management

  • Manage and diversify asset portfolios across solar and related investments to optimize performance, mitigate risks, and achieve target returns.

3. Asset Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track operational and financial performance of solar assets through regular inspections, performance analysis, and detailed reporting to management and stakeholders.

4. Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Engage with clients to understand objectives, provide strategic investment advice, and ensure transparent communication on portfolio performance.

5. Risk Management

  • Identify operational, financial, and environmental risks to solar assets and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard investments.

6. Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day asset operations, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and performance optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Master's degree or MBA preferred).

Experience:

  • 8–10 years of experience in solar energy asset management or related renewable energy sectors.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and technical data.
  • In-depth knowledge of solar project operations, investment principles, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in asset management systems, financial modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with proven experience in risk assessment and performance improvement.
