Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ELV Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an ELV Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of Extra Low Voltage systems in various projects throughout the region.
- Conduct thorough inspections of ELV systems, including security, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
- Verify installations comply with local building codes, international standards, and project specifications
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
- Perform tests on ELV systems to ensure proper functionality and performance
- Identify and report any deficiencies, non-conformities, or safety issues
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in ELV systems
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in ELV systems inspection or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of ELV systems, including security, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, including local building codes in Saudi Arabia and international standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC)
- Relevant certifications in ELV systems (e.g., BICSI, CFPS) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Arabic language skills preferred
