Position: Senior Specialist – Governance, Compliance & Risk

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

One of our esteemed clients is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team as a
Senior Specialist in Governance, Compliance & Risk
. This role supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of governance frameworks, compliance programs, and risk management activities to ensure the organization operates with integrity and is aligned with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and updating corporate governance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Monitor local regulatory updates and international standards, ensuring internal policies remain compliant.
  • Support the implementation of compliance programs and follow up on non-compliance observations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to provide required documentation and respond to inquiries.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise risk management framework (ERM).
  • Identify, assess, and track organizational risks, working with departments to ensure mitigation plans are implemented.
  • Prepare regular reports on governance, compliance, and risk indicators for management review.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions on governance, compliance, and risk-related topics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and risk awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
    in business administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience
    in governance, compliance, or risk management.
  • Good understanding of Saudi regulations (e.g., Central Bank, CMA, Ministry of Commerce) and international standards such as COSO and ISO 31000.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • High integrity, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and handle multiple priorities.
