Job Summary

The Sales & Application Mechanical Engineer is responsible for combining strong technical expertise with commercial sales skills to promote, specify, and sell the company's mechanical engineering solutions. The role involves technical selection, costing, proposal preparation, client coordination, and post-sales technical support for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, fuel, LPG, and other mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities – Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the MEP and industrial sectors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and end users.
  • Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial proposals.
  • Participate in client meetings and negotiations.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities – Technical Application

  • Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and RFQs.
  • Perform equipment selection and sizing.
  • Prepare technical submittals and compliance documents.
  • Provide technical clarifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers.

Costing & Commercial Support

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Analyze supplier quotations.
  • Ensure profitability of offers.
  • Assist in contract review.

Project & After-Sales Support

  • Support during shop drawings and commissioning stages.
  • Attend meetings and inspections.
  • Resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
  • 3–8 years experience in MEP Sales / HVAC / Application Engineering
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, fuel and LPG systems
