Job Summary

The Oracle EBS Consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules. The role involves requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, customization support, testing, and end-user assistance across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

* Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

* Configure Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, HRMS, Projects, Manufacturing).

* Perform setups, testing, documentation, and user training.

* Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end activities.

* Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for fixes.

* Prepare MD050 / MD070 documents.

Technical Responsibilities (for Technical or Techno-Functional roles)

* Develop and customize Oracle EBS components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).

* Use Oracle tools: PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Oracle Workflow, OAF, BI Publisher.

* Create RICEFW components as per business requirements.

* Handle performance tuning and data migration activities.

* Work closely with DBAs on patching, cloning, and upgrades.

Required Skills

* Hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x / 12.2.x).

* Strong understanding of key modules such as:

* Finance: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM

* SCM: PO, OM, INV, WMS, ASCP

* HRMS/Payroll

* Good knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL (for Technical or Techno-Functional roles).

* Experience with EBS upgrades, patching, and support.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

Good to Have

* Experience in Oracle Cloud/Fusion migration projects.

* Familiarity with Oracle AIM or OUM methodologies.

* Knowledge of APIs, Web ADI, SOA integrations.

* Certifications in Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud.

Education

* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
