Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Solar PV Engineer to provide expert technical support and on-site supervision for our solar projects across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and execution, ensuring all installations meet stringent quality, safety, and performance standards in compliance with SEC and other local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide office-based technical support, including reviewing design drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications for solar PV projects.
  • Travel to and supervise activities at various project sites across the Kingdom, ensuring contractors and in-house teams adhere to approved designs and installation standards.
  • Conduct on-site inspections for quality control and assurance throughout the project lifecycle (civil works, mechanical mounting, and electrical installation).
  • Lead the testing and commissioning of solar PV systems, including all associated electrical equipment (inverters, switchgear, transformers).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) grid-connection standards and all relevant local codes.
  • Prepare technical reports, site progress updates, and project close-out documentation.
  • Enforce strict health and safety protocols on all project sites.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the supervision, testing, and commissioning of solar PV projects.
  • Must hold a valid PV Installer certificate issued by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
  • A Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certificate is a significant advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV components, including modules, inverters, mounting structures, and monitoring systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PV testing equipment and commissioning procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a valid KSA driver's license and be willing to travel extensively to project sites across Saudi Arabia.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
