HSE Team Leader

Profile Summary:

The incumbent for this position should possess a solid understanding of the field of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance, HSE standards like ISO 14001 and OHSAS The HSE TEAM LEADER will be required to provide answers and solutions for challenges while performing their duties, and influence staff using consultative skills to gain a safe and healthy workplace.

  • Manage and lead the HSE team to the overall administration and implementation of HSE.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of operational risk assessments to help in identifying & mitigating hazards for critical activities.
  • Conduct Behavioural Safety Audits (BSA) and high profile tours as per HSEMS guidelines.
  • Maintain accident statistics, analyse trends and propose and take remedial actions where necessary.
  • Ensure that company HSE policies, procedures, regulations and objectives are effectively implemented.Foster continuous improvement of existing HSE Management Systems through sharing of best practices.
  • Monitor HSE Performance of Subcontractors and ensure contractual and other relevant requirements are satisfied adequately.

Qualification:
- Bachelors Or Mechanical Engineering/Safety Engineering
- A candidate must have experience of 8-10 years in Safety , of which 5-8 years in relevant EPC Projects in oil & Gas Process Plant / Cross country Pipeline Projects/Shut down and turnaround
- Person should be OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.
- Must be a NEBOSH holder or OSHA trained.

Experience:
- 10 years of experience in HSE especially from oil and gas sector Shutdown /Turnaround

Technicial:
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
- To be familiar with HSE Procedures which are used in plant.
