  • Lead and execute procurement strategies for Electrical systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project specifications.
  • Negotiate complex contracts with MEP vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, achieving favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks.
  • Manage the entire procurement lifecycle for electrical equipment and materials, from sourcing and bidding to order placement and delivery.
  • Conduct thorough technical evaluations of vendor proposals, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical engineering teams to understand project needs, provide procurement support, and offer value engineering solutions.
  • Oversee the tracking of procurement progress, manage schedules, and proactively address any delays or issues impacting project timelines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of approved MEP vendors, assessing their performance and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Analyze market trends, identify potential cost savings, and implement innovative procurement strategies for MEP projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key MEP suppliers and vendors, fostering collaboration and ensuring optimal service.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analysis, spend analysis, and performance metrics, to stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Electrical procurement, with a focus on construction projects.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of Electrical systems, equipment, and materials, including their technical specifications.
  • Displays strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve procurement issues.
  • Exhibits a proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
