Position Overview

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Pega Developer to design, build, and run carrier-grade case management and order orchestration solutions on Pega Infinity (8.8–24.x) within a telecom operator OSS/BSS environment. The role blends solution design, guardrail-compliant implementation, integrations to OSS/BSS via TM Forum Open APIs (e.g., TMF620 Product Catalog, TMF622 Product Order, TMF641 Service Order, TMF637/638 Product/Service Inventory), and CI/CD using Pega Deployment Manager—all in line with TM Forum eTOM/SID and the Open Digital Architecture (ODA/Frameworx).

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into Pega solutions aligned to
    TM Forum eTOM
    process areas (Fulfillment, Assurance, Billing) and information models
    (SID)
    to ensure clean separation of
    Product–Service–Resource
    and reusability across domains.
  • Implement flows and data models that interoperate with
    TM Forum Open APIs/ODA
    —enabling plug‑and‑play integration with catalog, order, inventory, and ticketing components.
  • Engineer robust integrations:
    REST/SOAP
    ,
    file/email listeners
    ,
    Queue Processors/Job Schedulers
    ,
    authentication (SSO/SAML/OIDC/LDAP)
    , and
    API gateway/ESB
    patterns.
  • Set up
    Pega Deployment Manager
    pipelines (branch merge, packaging, quality gates, automated testing, rollbacks) and coordinate releases across
    DEV/TEST/UAT/Pre‑Prod/Prod.
  • Enforce Pega
    guardrails
    , perform peer
    design/code reviews
    , and drive
    unit/scenario testing
    .
  • Collaborate with Network/IT (OSS) and Commercial (BSS) teams to ensure end‑to‑end order fulfillment, activation, and assurance SLAs.
  • Engineer for
    high availability, resilience, and horizontal scale
    across multi‑zone environments; apply rigorous
    RBAC/ABAC
    and
    SSO/OAuth
    patterns consistent with operator security standards.

Qualifications

  • 7–12+ years building production solutions on Pega PRPC/Infinity (8.8–24.x).
  • Telecom operator experience integrating with OSS/BSS and TM Forum Open APIs (TMF620, TMF622, TMF641, TMF637/638).
  • Strong hands-on skills in case design, UI rules, activities, declaratives, SLAs, reports, security, and DX API/Constellation.
  • CI/CD with Deployment Manager and multi-environment release orchestration.
  • Certifications: CSSA minimum; CLSA/LSA Part-1 preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID) and ODA/Frameworx.
  • Experience with Trouble Ticket (TMF621), Quote (TMF648), and POQ (TMF679).
  • Exposure to event streaming (Kafka) and API gateways/ESB for telco integrations.
  • SQL proficiency and Java/J2EE background for custom integration edge cases.
