The Tendering Director will oversee and lead all tendering and estimation activities for major construction projects across various sectors, ensuring the preparation of competitive, accurate, and compliant bids. The role requires extensive experience in cost estimation, tender strategy, and client relationship management within the KSA contracting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tendering department in preparing high-quality technical and commercial proposals for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and implement tendering strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and market trends.
  • Review and validate cost estimates, BOQs, and bid documents to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, and project management teams during bid preparation.
  • Analyze project risks and opportunities and propose cost-effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Oversee post-tender negotiations, clarifications, and finalization of contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and KSA regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and lead the tendering and estimation team to maintain high performance and technical excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed university (Master's preferred).
  • Experience:
    Minimum
    25 years of experience
    in construction and contracting, with at least
    15 years in KSA
    .
  • Proven track record in tendering, estimation, and business development for
    mega and high-value projects
    .
  • Strong understanding of KSA market dynamics, pricing strategies, and local regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in tendering software and MS Office tools.
