Position Summary

The Testing & Commissioning leader is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all testing and commissioning activities to ensure that systems, equipment, and installations meet project requirements, design specifications, and industry standards. The role ensures smooth integration, system performance, and successful handover to the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Testing & Commissioning (T&C) strategies, procedures, and schedules.

  • Lead and supervise all onsite testing and commissioning activities for MEP, HVAC, ELV, Fire Fighting, and integrated building systems.

  • Conduct functional, performance, and integrated system testing to verify compliance with design and operational requirements.

  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to prepare T&C plans.

  • Identify system deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed efficiently.

  • Prepare test reports, commissioning logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.

  • Organize and lead commissioning meetings and technical workshops.

  • Ensure that all T&C activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and project quality

  • Support final acceptance testing, system handover, and client training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.

  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP, ELV, HVAC, Fire Protection, and building systems integration.

  • Experience in testing procedures, commissioning standards, and relevant international codes.

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant testing tools/software.
