Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah for a dedicated and experienced professional as a Senior Technician ( Chemistry) and POCT Coordinator. Responsibilities include managing and overseeing point-of-care testing (POCT) operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Handling 5 ABG machines , 59 blood sugar machines and 3 ACT machines.Role involves Implementing quality control measures, Maintaining equipment and their troubleshooting. Training newly joined Nursing staff, Collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient diagnostic processes is a key aspect of the position. Taking care of the reagent and disposable for smooth functioning of the laboratory.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in handling and maintaining diagnostic lab equipment and specialized POCT devices
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory compliance standards in healthcare settings
  • Proven ability in staff training, workflow management, and technical supervision for laboratory and POCT activities
  • Solid understanding of medical laboratory science concepts and analytical techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Laboratory Science.
  • More than 25 years of experience in a medical laboratory technician and POCT coordination role.
  • Valid Certification or licensure from Saudi council.
