Position Overview

Leading the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) to drive digital transformation initiatives across the SAP application ecosystem to meet business objectives and accelerate enterprise-wide solutions

Role & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

• Architecture and Solution: Proven experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions and driving digital transformation initiatives that align with business goals

• SAP Center of Excellence (COE): Lead the establishment of SAP COE excellence, defining governance frameworks and best practices across the SAP application landscape

• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with various business clusters to understand their challenges and define Strategy to achieve outcome or goal. 

• SME Support : Provide technical SME input on end-to-end process, solutions and Technical/functional capabilities within SAP

• Cloud technology : Expertise in providing innovative solutions for cloud technologies and architecture, specializing in AWS and Azure

• Technical Strategy & Roadmap: Define & drive the SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with business goals

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all SAP solutions follow enterprise architecture standards, security and compliance

• Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with various business clusters,  Solution Governance team, Infrastructure, DevOps  to understand their challenges and define Strategy to achieve outcome or goal. 

• Innovation & Optimisation: Evaluate and implement emerging SAP technologies (e.g., AI/ML, Process Mining, Cloud Integrations) to improve efficiency

Requirements


• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• At least 8-10 years hands-on with SAP Solution architecture with client-facing role (at least 3-4 years in Fiori, SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver and BTP)

• Proven experience with SAP Integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, BTP integration Suite, CPI, and API management.

• Strong experience in application technical skills such as ABAP, ODATA, and UI5/Fiori is preferred.

• Able to assist the team with performance fine-tuning and building robust applications.

• Working experience in building scalable applications with resilience in high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR).

• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions.

• Familiarity with security architecture and design  such as OAuth, SAML, and SSL.

• Experience working with HANA Database Cloud, Datawarehouse on HANA, Performance Tuning, Data Tiering & Memory  Management, HANA Cloud workload management, Identification of Long running queries and remediation, HANA Cloud parameters

• Strong expertise in working with reporting solutions such as SAP BW, Datasphere, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) includes the creation of models, stories, analytics applications, and row/column reports.

• Review and assess vendor proposed designs and solutions, and engage in the RFP and POC processes as necessary

• Expertise in developing High-Level Designs (HLDs) for SAP migrations from on-premises to public/private cloud environments, along with hands-on experience in migrating application infrastructure and data center (DC) migrations.

• Experience across all migration phases: discovery, assessment, presentation, planning, and execution.

• Is responsible for collaborating with the QA lead to ensure the quality of the deliverables
