Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Engineer with a strong background fit-out projects to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant codes, specifications, and project standards.
Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Quality Control:
- Perform QA/QC inspections in accordance with the approved Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Project Quality Plan.
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities (NCRs) and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive quality records for audits, project reviews, and third-party inspections.
Site Monitoring & Inspection:
- Conduct inspections of ongoing fit-out finishes c
- Inspect and verify incoming materials including concrete, rebar, soil, and other key construction materials related to fit out Projects.
- Ensure timely inspection and approval of works at each construction stage.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (INRs) and Requests for Material Inspection (RFMI).
- Coordinate with client representatives and third-party inspectors for sampling, testing, and witnessing inspections.
- Generate detailed reports such as daily inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other quality documentation.
Coordination & Communication:
- Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent quality performance.
- Participate in project and coordination meetings to provide updates on quality issues, inspection outcomes, and compliance status.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, construction materials, and industry codes and standards.
- Proficient in preparing and managing ITPs, quality plans, and inspection reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
- Able to perform under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
More Prefer: Locally available in KSA or willing to move in KSA
