About the role:

Converge Gate is looking for an experienced Project Developer to lead large-scale accommodation development projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage the full project lifecycle, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and deliver high-impact projects from concept to handover.

Responsibilities:

·      Lead all project phases: concept, design, tendering, construction, and handover.

·      Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and key milestones.

·      Coordinate with partners, architects, consultants, and developers.

·      Ensure designs meet operational and functional standards.

·      Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure compliance.

·      Manage RFPs and support contract negotiations.

·      Collaborate with Finance on budget tracking and reporting.

·      Provide monthly progress and financial updates to management and investors.

·      Liaise with authorities for permits and approvals.

·      Serve as the main point of contact during site visits and inspections.

Candidate requirements:

·      Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Construction Management, Economics, Business, or a related field. (Master's degree is an advantage)

·      
Experience:
10+ years of proven project development or project management experience in accommodation projects, ideally large-scale residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.

·      
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of project planning tools, budgeting, cost control, and compliance with accommodation sector standards.

·      
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).

·      
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

·      
Compliance & Risk:
Experience in risk management, regulatory approvals, and ensuring compliance with both local and international building codes.

·      
Financial Acumen:
 Strong understanding of cost reporting, ROI, and investor-focused project metrics.

·      
Certification:
PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.

·      
Language:
Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
