Job description:

Cloud Networks is a Saudi-based IT solutions reseller and systems integrator serving enterprise, government, and multinational clients across KSA. We are looking for a Sales Engineer to grow B2B revenue by generating and managing opportunities end-to-end—from customer discovery and solution mapping to quoting, demos, vendor coordination, and a clean handover to delivery teams.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Run opportunities end-to-end: customer discovery, site understanding, solution selection, and closing support.
  • Prepare practical quotes (options, lead times, compliance notes) and coordinate vendor pricing/technical clarifications.
  • Deliver product demos/technical presentations and support evaluations/PoCs where needed.
  • Coordinate handover to client
  • Support projects aligned to Cloud Networks business units:
    Critical Infrastructure, Network Solutions, Security Technologies, Enterprise Systems, Industrial Solutions
    .
  • Maintain pipeline updates (next steps, risks, close plan) and keep records in CRM.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years
    in B2B technical sales (IT reseller, SI, or test & measurement supplier).
  • Full proficiency in Arabic & English
    (spoken and written).
  • Comfortable with CRM/pipeline discipline and basic forecasting/reporting.
  • Valid KSA driving license.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecom, Networks, IT, or related.
  • Exposure to proposal/quotation workflows and vendor coordination in a technical environment.

Key skills:

  • Customer discovery and requirement clarification
  • Solution mapping and proposal/quotation preparation (BOM-driven)
  • Technical demos and stakeholder presentations
  • Commercial coordination (pricing basics, lead times, delivery constraints)
  • Cross-functional coordination.
  • Organized follow-up and pipeline reporting

Knowledge:

  • Passive & active network infrastructure:
    structured cabling and communications cabling (copper and fiber), patch panels, racks/cabinets, labeling; fiber termination/splicing basics; active networking fundamentals including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Security & low-current systems:
    CCTV/video surveillance
    , access control, and public address (PA) / AV basics (core components and ELV integration).
  • Field testing & measurement:
     awareness of copper and fiber network testing/certification and troubleshooting tools used to validate cabling performance on customer sites (e.g., certification, continuity, loss/attenuation, and basic link verification).
  • UPS solutions:
    UPS sizing fundamentals, runtime considerations, battery basics, and typical deployment contexts (critical loads, server rooms, and data-center support).
  • Physical security systems; Handheld & safety tools.
  • Broad understanding of Cloud Networks solution areas:
    critical infrastructure, networking, security technologies, enterprise systems, and industrial solutions.
