Senior Data Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst owns of complex data analysis projects, working closely with contract managers and senior stakeholders to drive insights that support contract delivery, compliance, and efficiency. The role includes shaping data strategy, and ensuring analytical outputs are able to inform decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels.

Responsibilities

· Lead the design and delivery of advanced analytical models and reporting frameworks for operational contracts.

· Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and ensure insights are actionable and impactful.

· Proactively identify performance risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across contracts.

· Support forecasting, benchmarking, and predictive modelling to anticipate contract performance.

· Ensure data governance, quality, and consistency across reporting processes.

· Present complex analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

· Act as a subject matter expert for analytics within an operational delivery environment fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

· Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Knowledge

· Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.

· Strong understanding of statistical and analytical methodologies.

· In-depth knowledge of operational delivery contracts and performance management frameworks.

· Experience with large, complex data sets and multiple system integrations.

Skills

· Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

· Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analysis.

· Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to influence decision-making.

· High level of attention to detail.

· Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Collaborative team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· High-level problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, contract-driven environment.

Experience

· 4–7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or applied data science roles.

· Proven track record of leading analytical projects from requirement-gathering to insight delivery.

· Experience in operational delivery contracts, performance monitoring, or service-level agreements (SLAs) highly desirable.

· Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining advanced dashboards, reporting frameworks, and predictive models.

· Prior experience working directly with senior stakeholders, translating business needs into data solutions.

· Exposure to data governance, compliance, and data quality assurance practices.

· Experience handling large, complex datasets, ideally across multiple operational.
