Job Purpose:

Responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and price proposals for mechanical projects, ensuring profitability while meeting technical specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze tender documents, project specifications, and technical requirements for mechanical projects.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and price proposals, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure pricing aligns with technical specifications.
  • Monitor market prices for mechanical components and systems to ensure competitive offers.
  • Prepare comparison reports with previous projects and pricing trends.
  • Maintain and update cost and material databases.
  • Participate in client and supplier meetings as needed to support pricing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards in all pricing activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical project pricing or cost estimation.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and material market prices.
  • Proficient in mechanical design software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong negotiation skills with clients and suppliers.
  • Accuracy, reliability, and adherence to deadlines.
