Job Description

 A mechanical engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in high-end hotels and hospitality type projects.

 To be in-charge of the execution phase of the project, particularly in the public areas of the hotel, with everything that relates to mechanical systems.  Supervise the work being executed and make sure that it's in-line with the project design and specifications.

 Quality control of materials used and work executed.

 Review of all shop drawings and anticipating any potential problems of conflicts with other trades, and taking corrective action.

 Preparing daily and weekly reports to management, including recommendations.

 Solving issues / problems / conflicts in coordination with all other trades.

 Assist in the design of the basement and roof floors as it relates to mechanical systems.

 Approving / rejecting materials and works.

 Inspection test submittals / site instructions / non conformance reports

 As-built drawings submittal review and approvals.  Reviewing and approving invoices and payment requests from vendors and contractors.

 Preparing a clear time-line schedule, in coordination with all other trades, and presenting it to management. Ensure compliance with the approved schedule and budgets.

 In charge of the handing-over of the works from the concerned contractors and vendors.

 Creating and following up on the "snag list" and issuing final approvals.
