Summary of role:

Are you passionate about creating a vibrant workplace and exploring business development? As an Employee Experience & Business Development Intern at ITCAN, you'll support engagement events, internal communications, and workplace initiatives while assisting with research, outreach, and pipeline activities. This role offers hands-on experience across HR, employee experience, and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating a range of employee engagement events, from team-building activities to wellness programs and social outings.
  • Support the development and distribution of internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and invitations, to keep the ITCAN team informed and engaged.
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys and focus groups, identifying insights to improve our workplace culture. The intern would mainly focus on TE DXB and supporting the investor pipeline.
  • Coordinate logistics for events by working with vendors, managing venue bookings, catering, and entertainment arrangements.
  • Provide administrative support for employee experience initiatives, including maintaining databases, organizing files, and scheduling meetings.
  • Support business development activities by assisting in identifying potential partners, brands, and clients aligned with ITCAN's goals.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth in the digital and e-commerce space.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and pitch materials to support client meetings and partnership discussions.
  • Track and update the business development pipeline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of ongoing discussions and opportunities.
  • Assist in follow-ups and communication with potential partners, clients, or investors to maintain engagement and support deal closure.
  • Support internal and external communication activities, including announcements and updates to keep the team and stakeholders informed.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Passionate learner about influencer marketing, trending marketing channels, and communication.
  • Naturally sociable, friendly, and approachable personality.
  • Proficient with Google Drive, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
