Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational policies and standards. Responsibilities include managing resources, streamlining processes, supervising staff, developing operational strategies, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role requires close collaboration with various departments to align operational goals with the organization's mission of providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and supervise the departments of Maintenance, Hospitality & Housekeeping, Procurement, and Technical & Operational Services.
  2. Ensure all facilities and infrastructure operate efficiently and in full compliance with operational standards and policies.
  3. Lead and monitor operational workflows and ensure timely closure of maintenance and service requests.
  4. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensuring full readiness of all technical systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, safety systems).
  5. Oversee hospitality and housekeeping services for inpatients, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in patient rooms and shared areas.
  6. Monitor the quality of hospitality services for inpatients, including cleanliness, meal delivery, room arrangement, and daily service needs.
  7. Monitor daily maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to operational schedules and immediate resolution of field issues.
  8. Oversee procurement operations, including vendor management, contract oversight, purchasing cycles, and operational inventory control.
  9. Collaborate with administrative and nursing departments to ensure operational support for inpatient units and daily activity flow.
  10. Conduct regular inspection rounds in patient rooms and facility areas to ensure service quality in both hospitality and maintenance.
  11. Manage operational incidents and service-related issues, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
  12. Enhance operational services by improving standards for cleanliness, hospitality, and overall facility readiness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Operations Manager in the healthcare sector (mandatory).

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

  • Solid experience in facility operations, procurement, service providers, and vendor management.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
