In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems within gas processing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and practical experience in the oil and gas sector, specifically within gas plants.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for gas processing facilities.
  • Ensure all electrical installations meet safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance activities on electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to execute project plans and objectives.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and drawings.
  • Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays.
  • Provide technical support during the commissioning and startup phases of gas plants.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience specifically in gas plant operations and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to changing situations.
