Millwright Technician

Job Title : Millwright Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience as a Millwright Technician or senior in a continuous process industry (preferably aluminum or similar heavy industry).
• Certification from a recognized technical institution.
• Fluent in English
  (spoken and written).
• Last experience in
  projects, construction, or oil & gas
  industries
  will not be considered
  .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauling of:

2. High-pressure compressors

3. Rotary feeders, blowers,

4. Pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, and heat exchangers

5. Lead job execution activities including:

6. Equipment alignment and installation

7. Preventive maintenance

8. Emergency repairs and unplanned shutdown support

9. Coordinate with operations for system preparation and job execution.

10. Evaluate job scope and determine required tools, materials, and equipment.
11. Apply for and manage work permits in compliance with Maaden's permit system.
12. Prepare and execute Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
13. Read and understand mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
14. Set, align, and test run rotating equipment.
15. Troubleshoot and analyze mechanical issues with support from maintenance teams.
16. Perform overhauls and repairs on compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, etc.
17. Knowledgeable in various types of mechanical seals and their replacement methods.
18. Independently carry out daily maintenance tasks and support equipment maintenance.
19. Physically inspect job sites and ensure readiness before permit sign-off.
20. Capable of working at elevated heights and in confined spaces.
