Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain 4D BIM models by linking project schedules to 3D models.
  • Integrate data from planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) with BIM platforms such as Navisworks, Synchro, or Bentley ConstructSim.
  • Simulate construction sequences to identify clashes, optimize workflows, and support planning decisions.
  • Coordinate with project planners, engineers, and BIM teams to ensure accurate schedule-model alignment.
  • Produce 4D animations and visual reports for client presentations and progress reviews.
  • Support the development of 5D (cost-linked) and 6D (asset-linked) workflows when applicable.
  • Maintain version control and documentation of all 4D planning deliverables.
  • Assist in improving BIM-based planning standards, templates, and methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 48 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, with at least 2 years in 4D BIM.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, and BIM tools such as Navisworks Manage, Synchro 4D, or Revit.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and project delivery.
  • Experience in visualization and communication of complex construction schedules.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working collaboratively across disciplines.
  • Knowledge of 5D/6D BIM and digital construction workflows is an advantage.
