IMMEDIATE HIRE: Site Technician - Piling & Foundations (Solar PV - KSA)

Location: Hafar al-batin

SME Electromechanical is urgently hiring dedicated Site Technicians for a critical short-term contract (2-3 months) on a solar PV project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This role is focused on the specialized piling and foundation phase of the project.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (Strictly Non-Negotiable)

  • 1. KSA Iqama: You MUST possess a valid and transferable Iqama and be currently residing in KSA.
  • 2. Salary Cap: Maximum monthly salary is SAR 3,060 - SAR 3,500. You must be comfortable with this rate.
  • 3. Availability: Must be able to join the project site immediately.
  • 4. Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in heavy civil works, specifically supporting piling, earthworks, or heavy foundation installation.

Your Focus:

This is a hands-on technical role supporting the foundation team. Practical experience is the priority.

  • Piling Support: Assist the piling crew with setup, alignment, and execution of driven piles or foundation works for the solar farm structure.
  • Measurements & Checks: Execute manual measurements, mark-outs, and basic quality checks to ensure piling location and depth meet specifications.
  • Operation Support: Assist in the operation, maintenance, and basic fueling/servicing of site machinery related to piling (under supervision).
  • Safety & Rigging: Adhere strictly to rigging and lifting safety procedures and all quality standards related to heavy foundation work.

Candidate Profile (What We Look For)

  • Technical Experience: 2+ years of direct, hands-on experience supporting heavy civil construction, groundworks, or specialized piling/drilling operations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using measuring tools, reading basic setting-out drawings, and familiarity with heavy equipment support.
  • Certification: Relevant technical certification or trade experience is preferred.
  • Work Ethic: Physically fit, highly reliable, and willing to work long, demanding hours in a site environment.
