Job Responsibility :

Architecture & Design :

  • Contribute to the design of secure architectures for cloud and hybrid environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Support the development of security reference architectures, design patterns, and solution blueprints.
  • Participate in network segmentation, firewall rule design, and secure connectivity architecture (VPN, SD-WAN, Zero Trust).
  • Assist in designing identity and access architectures, including IAM, SSO, MFA, and role-based access control models.

Cloud Security :

  • Implement and integrate cloud-native security controls (e.g., GCP Security Command Center).
  • Support the assessment and hardening of cloud configurations in alignment with CIS benchmarks and best practices.

Integration & Implementation :

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into technology projects and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assist in integrating security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, WAF, CASB, and DLP solutions into enterprise environments.
  • Participate in solution reviews and technical assessments to identify and mitigate security risks early in project lifecycles.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure architectural designs comply with internal security policies, regulatory standards (ISO 27001, NIST, NCA ECC, NCA CCC, etc.), and data protection requirements.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and security architecture review documentation.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with senior architects to develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
  • Provide technical input in security solution evaluations and proof-of-concepts.
  • Support knowledge sharing, documentation, and training on new technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity architecture, with exposure to:
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Network architecture and security (firewalls, VPNs, routing, IDS/IPS)
  • Security technologies (SIEM, IAM, WAF, DLP, EDR)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code and automation concepts
  • Strong understanding of security architecture principles, Zero Trust, and secure system design.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as SABSA, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or TOGAF.

Preferred Certifications :

  • One or more of the following (or equivalent):
  • CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
  • CompTIA Security+ or CySA+
  • Cisco CCNA Security / CCNP Security
