Civil Inspector

We are seeking skilled Civil Inspectors, to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience, specifically within the consultancy sector, with a strong background in site supervision for projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of civil engineering works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor construction activities, materials testing, and quality control processes to verify adherence to approved plans and specifications.
- Identify and report any non-conformities, defects, or discrepancies observed during inspections and coordinate with project stakeholders to address corrective actions.
- Review contractor submittals, including method statements, shop drawings, and material samples, for compliance with project requirements.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to clarify technical specifications, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project progress.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project records, documentation, and progress reports.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and site visits as required to support project coordination and interface management activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior inspectors and site staff as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental compliance on construction sites, enforcing best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to achieve project objectives and deliver quality results.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering inspection roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- Professional certifications or licenses related to civil engineering or construction inspection are advantageous.
