We are seeking candidates for a new FP&A role in our client based in Saudi Arabia.

The
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for setting up the FP&A function and business forecasting for local operations. This role is accountable for examining company finances and preparing business cases to support strategies for improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Sets up the FP&A function in the local organisation.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the financial and strategic plans.
  • Work with department leaders to build their annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Produce models to project long-term growth and determine the levers impacting business growth.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to understand company performance better.
  • Implement BI tools to visualize meaningful insights into business performance.
  • Contributes to business automation, process improvement, and policy development initiatives
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on results, including variance analysis across the organization.
  • Review operations and recommend new productivity or cost-saving initiatives.
  • Drives corporate profitability by analyzing product volume, margin, and competitive prices to provide guidance to business lines on their pricing and costing strategies
  • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability.

Education, and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • Professional accounting certification

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
  • Good understanding of FP&A best practice
  • Team management not essential but ability to build an FP&A function crucial.
