The Role

The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering professional hair services, including cutting, coloring, treatments, and creative styling. The role requires providing exceptional customer service, maintaining salon hygiene, and ensuring every client leaves feeling confident and satisfied with their look.

Key Responsibilities:

Hair Styling & Services:

Perform all hair-related services such as cutting, coloring, blow-drying, styling, and treatments.

Provide personalized consultations to understand each client's hair needs and preferences.

Suggest hairstyles and treatments suitable for different hair types and face shapes.

Client Experience:

Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients.

Offer advice on haircare routines and recommend suitable products for home use.

Ensure client satisfaction through attention to detail and consistent service quality.

Hygiene & Safety:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness for tools, equipment, and workstations.

Follow all health and safety regulations within the salon.

Product & Technique Knowledge:

Stay up to date with current trends, coloring methods, and styling techniques.

Promote salon products and services to enhance the client's experience.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth salon operations.

Assist and mentor junior stylists when needed.

Scheduling & Time Management:

Manage appointments efficiently to minimize client waiting time.

Communicate effectively with the receptionist and team regarding schedules and client requests.
