  • Conduct inspections and tests on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
  • Supervise welding activities and ensure adherence to welding standards and safety regulations.
  • Identify and report non-conformances, and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and document project activities, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure quality assurance processes are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Generate regular QA/QC reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage quality-related changes in scope.
  • Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential quality issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in QA/QC inspection, preferably in erection projects or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with welding standards and inspection techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
