With over 145 years of service excellence, we combine the precision and accuracy that define Swiss companies to help organizations achieve the highest standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability. We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead daily operations, ensure quality compliance, oversee petroleum product testing, and manage a team of chemists and technicians

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day laboratory activities, workflow, and turnaround times.

  • Oversee testing of crude oil, refined products, gas, lubricants, and petrochemicals.

  • Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, IP, API and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.

  • Review and validate test results and resolve technical issues.

  • Manage and maintain laboratory instruments (GC, HPLC, XRF, FTIR, KF, etc.).

  • Approve procurement, commissioning, and installation of new equipment and technologies.

  • Maintain instrument logs and ensure full traceability of measurements

  • Lead, train, and supervise lab staff; manage schedules and performance.

  • Ensure HSE compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Handle client communication, reporting, and technical support.

  • Manage laboratory budget, resources, and equipment planning.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of Experience within a petroleum, chemical, or accredited testing laboratory.

  • Strong knowledge of petroleum testing standards and QMS (ISO

  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience with LIMS and laboratory instrumentation.
