Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage mining mega projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies, evaluating project viability and risks.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and legal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on mining or heavy industrial projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
