Our transportation team is growing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planning Manager to join us on a full-time basis, working on our Qiddiya commission - specifically vertical links. Qiddiya is a massive entertainment and tourism megaproject in Saudi Arabia, located near Riyadh, intended to be a global hub for entertainment, sports, and culture.

You'll need to have:

  • Primavera certification (preferred).
  • Recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) (preferred).
  • 10 -15 years of related planning/scheduling experience within construction delivery - ideally with both contractor and consultancy backgrounds.
  • Previous KSA/Middle East experience (preferred).
  • Ability to foster a culture of flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing business requirements.
  • Expertise in managing and prioritizing team workloads deadline - driven.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills to effectively articulate ideas, strategies, and project performance to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level management software such as P6 and MS Office (Excel, Word); preferred skills include Power BI.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams, and deliver results.
  • Strong technical and commercial working knowledge with hands-on project delivery experience.
  • Recognized industry presence and ability to work with teams to solve technical problems and ensure high assurance on project deliverables.
  • Significant experience in developing, implementing, and managing business systems, including policies and procedures applicable to the role and across the project.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Analytical and thorough, with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to lead team collaboration and cross-department integration in a cooperative environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect people and issues and drive quick responses.

You'll also have:

  • Extensive experience in successfully planning projects and programmes in the rail sector.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience with large, diverse teams.
  • Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
