Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Coating Applicator / Spray Painter (APCS, Saudi Aramco) located in  Ras Alkhair. The role involves applying protective and decorative coatings to surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces for painting, selecting appropriate coatings or paints, operating spray painting equipment, and following safety and quality standards. The individual will work directly on-site, performing hands-on painting and coating tasks as per project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Valid APCS (Aramco Painting Certificate – Spray Painter / Coating Applicator) approved by Saudi Aramco
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial coating and painting works on Saudi Aramco or oil & gas projects
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation methods (abrasive blasting, power tool cleaning, solvent cleaning, etc.)
  • Experience in applying protective coating systems (Epoxy, Polyurethane, FBE, Coal Tar, Zinc Rich, etc.)
  • Ability to operate airless spray machines, conventional spray guns, and related coating equipment
  • Knowledge of DFT measurement, coating inspection basics, and defect rectification
  • Familiar with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS) and HSE requirements
  • Able to work in outdoor, confined space, and elevated areas
  • Medically fit and safety-oriented
  • Good teamwork and ability to follow QC and supervisor instructions
