Job Vacancy: Backend Software Engineer

Location: Saudi Arabia – Full Time

About the Company

A fast-growing FinTech company specializing in digital lending, consumer finance, API integrations, and advanced financial technology solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to help build and scale our digital financial platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using modern programming languages , Python, Java, or similar).

* Design and implement RESTful / SOAP / GraphQL APIs with high scalability and reliability.

* Integrate with third-party providers, banking systems, identity verification services, and internal solutions.

* Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

* Build and enhance web applications for financial services with strong security practices.

* Participate in microservices architecture development and deployment.

* Perform testing, documentation, and contribute to DevOps workflows.

* Collaborate with frontend, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Saudi National (Required)

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

* Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development.

* Strong expertise in building and integrating APIs.

* Proficiency with frameworks such as , Django, Spring Boot, FastAPI, or similar.

* Solid understanding of security standards (OWASP, PCI DSS), especially in the FinTech sector.

* Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile FinTech environment.

Preferred Skills

* Experience in digital lending, payments, or financial platforms.

* Knowledge of KYC, AML, and credit-risk scoring systems.

* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

* Strong clean-coding and scalable architecture approach.
